How did you get started with bodybuilding the Fitness lifestyle?

I’ve always been an athlete. Growing up I played almost everything at least once, but I was an All-Star cheerleader for 10 years. I went away to college, stopped playing sports, I worked out a little, but I was putting weight on. Always being so active my whole life it freaked me out & I didn’t wanna let my health start spiraling downward. So after college, I looked into just hiring a trainer and found some things on competing. I figured it was worth a shot to try, since I was used to being on stage with cheerleading and it would give me a reason to stay fit & healthy.

Where does your motivation come from?

My motivation comes from within myself. I just want to be better than I was a year ago, a month ago, yesterday. Etc. I strive to keep improving & looking at pictures of myself I say “I want to beat that”.

What workout routine has worked best for you?

I split up my upper body training and lower body training. I really like to do high rep with an obtainable weight & supersets. Also, plyos. Can’t stress enough how much plyos helps bring my legs down.

Full Routine:

Monday: legs/ glutes

Tuesday: shoulders / bis/ tris

Wednesday: off

Thursday: back

Friday: legs/ glutes

Saturday: shoulders / bis / tris

Sunday: off

If you had to pick only 3 exercises, what would they be and why?

Lateral raises, I just love the pump they give my delts, especially when I train high rep. Hip thrusts, because who doesn’t love a good booty workout. Bulgarian squats, love hate relationship. But they’re great for the booty.

When trying to cut down do you prefer to use HIIT or just normal cardio?

Definitely doing a lot of hiit to bring these thunder thighs down.
